Bookable extras are designed to make the planning for your challenge as easy as possible -providing options for your joining & leaving arrangements, and are summarised below. Scroll down for details & prices on each category, all extras are now closed, you can still book a parking pass ahead of your challenge.

HIRE A 'GEO TRACKER'

Family & friends can follow you every step of the way!

If you’d like family & friends to track your real time progress on your Ultra Challenge, then why not book a new Geo Tracker!  Pick it up at the start of the event – share the map with them – and then they’ll be able to see exactly where you are – day & night !

EASTBOURNE (Bramley Camping)  – MAIN START VENUE (0 km) – Friday night before your challenge. Generally suits Full 100 km, 1st Half, & 1st Quarter Challengers

HOVE – HALF WAY VENUE (57 km) Saturday night – primarily for the ‘2 Day  Daylight Full 100 km’ option for overnight sleep / recovery – AND also works for ‘1st Half + Finishers’ & for the early Sunday morning 2nd Half starters.  

ALL-INCLUSIVE PACKAGES OR ‘PITCH ONLY’ OPTION (inc Camper Vans) ARE AVAILABLE

For any extra supporters or participants reserve a spot on an already booked Pitch ONLY/Campervan option on our campsite. (Please ensure when booking for extra campers you have already purchased a Pitch ONLY/Campervan space if available at the venue).

Parking for your vehicle is available at :

  • The Major Start Venue. This combined with the ‘before & after’ bus transfer options will enable you to join & leave the event ‘sensibly’.
  • Supporter Parking Pass – so friends / family can park at some ‘key’ venues along the route. 
  • We do not have parking available at the finish line at Hove & Arundel, there is a near by P&D car park.

Shuttle busses to help with your logistics:

  • Transfer to main Eastbourne (Bramley Camping) start venue from Eastbourne Train Station
  • Transfer from a finish venue back to the start so your car is with you ‘after’ you finish your challenge (ie – You park your car at your finish)

After your challenge:

  • Transfers from your finish to the local train station
  • Transfers back to your start venue (where you may have initially parked your car)

NO NEED TO PRE BOOK – AND IS AVAILABLE ON THE DAY AT YOUR START (Pay cash or Card)

  • Have an overnight type bag transferred from your start to your finish point. 
  • Full 100 km Challengers – have your bag (or camping gear) transferred to the 57 km Half Way for access to it – and then on to the finish.

Friday Night Dinner – available to book for anyone staying at Eastbourne on Friday night.

Saturday Morning Breakfast – available to participants beginning their challenge on Saturday morning at Eastbourne. Breakfast the following morning is included in the inclusive camping packages, but not in the pitch only & will need to be booked separately.

Sunday Morning Breakfast – available to participants beginning their challenge on Sunday morning at Hove. Breakfast the following morning is included in the inclusive camping packages, but not in the pitch only & will need to be booked separately.

Parking is available at the main venues. If you’re not doing the full Challenge (100 km) – check that our optional Shuttle Services also work for you. Please note, we do not have parking available at the finish line at Hove & Arundel, there is a near by P&D car park.

All weekend at Eastbourne:

Friday 4pm – 11pm & Saturday 6am – Sunday 10pm

Ideal for challengers starting at Eastbourne.

Saturday for the day at Alfriston:

Car park hours: Saturday 6am – 6pm

Ideal for 1st Quarter challengers.

Supporters can book a pass for parking at Eastbourne (0km), Alfriston (25km)

Camping - Friday NIGHT

At the 0 km  ‘start’ in Eastbourne on Friday 6th.

Inclusive Packages – with pre pitched tent & roll mat (you bring sleeping bag & other equipment). Parking & breakfast the following morning is included in your package.

Pitch Only Option – bring your own tent or campervan (+ all equipment). Parking is included in your Pitch/Campervan booking. Breakfast is NOT included in your pitch only camping – this must be booked separately

You will be able to add on extra campers to your Pitch ONLY/Campervan option under the same booking. Make sure you look for the Extra Campers’ option under the relevant location where you want to camp on the booking form.

Hot showers, rest area, changing rooms, & hot drinks included. Use our optional Baggage Service to move your kit from the start.

Ideal for the Full 100km Challenge, 1st Half & 1st Quarter challengers setting out on Saturday morning.

NOTE – if you want the ‘optional dinner’ on Friday evening, served between 6-9pm, you must book this as a separate item on the booking form.

Spacious 2-man tent & roll mat – all set up and ready for you. You need to bring sleeping bag & other equipment – Includes parking & breakfast the following morning.

Roomy 3-man tent & roll mats all set up and ready for you – plenty of space for 2 people and bags – Includes parking & breakfast the following morning.

Reserve a space for your tent or campervan. You’ll have access to hot showers, toilets & other facilities – Includes parking, Breakfast is NOT included in your pitch only camping – this must be booked separately

Reserve a spot on an already booked Pitch/Campervan on our campsite. (Please ensure when booking for extra campers you have already purchased a Pitch/Campervan space).

Please select how many additional people per Pitch/Campervan (max 3 people additionally per pitch – 4 in total under the same booking). If you would like to book more than 4 people, you will be able to book another PITCH/ Campervan with extra campers following the same process.

Camping - Saturday NIGHT

HOve

At the 57 km ‘half way’ rest stop in Hove on Saturday 7th. No campervan facilities are available at our half way venue in Hove.

Inclusive Packages – with pre pitched tent & roll mat – (you bring a sleeping bag & other equipment). Parking & breakfast the following morning is included in your package.

Pitch Only Option – bring your own tent (+ all equipment). Parking is included in your Pitch ONLY booking. Breakfast is NOT included in your pitch only camping – this must be booked separately

Pre Challenge Transfers

We’ve a range of shuttle services to take you to your start line, before your challenge. Eastbourne Station is the closest rail link to Bramley Camping Park (Eastbourne) (it’s on the East Coastway line).

Ideal for all starting in Eastbourne.

From the station to the main start line at Bramley Camping Park (Eastbourne) – on a regular shuttle service during the times:

  • Friday – 4pm – 8pm
  • Saturday – 6am – 9am

Ideal for 1st Quarter Challengers

Park your car at the finish in Alfriston & get a shuttle to your start line in Bramley Camping Park (Eastbourne). This service will run:

  • Only once on Saturday at 7am

Post Challenge Transfers

We’ve a range of shuttle services to take you where you need to go after your challenge.

Ideal for Full Challengers

From the finish line in Arundel FC back to the start in Bramley Camping Park (Eastbourne). Please be aware, there may be a waiting time of up to 4 hours.

  • Saturday – 8pm onwards 
  • Sunday – 7am onwards

Ideal for anyone finishing at Arundel FC.

To Arundel Train Station – operating regular service, although there may be a wait at quiet times (max 45 mins), during the hours:

  • Saturday – 6pm – last train
  • Sunday – 7am onwards

Ideal for 1st Half Challengers

From the finish line in Hove back to the start Bramley Camping Park (Eastbourne). Please be aware, there may be a waiting time of up to 2 hours.

  • Saturday – 1pm – 3am

Ideal for 1st Half Challengers

From the finish line in Hove to Brighton station:

  • Saturday – 2pm – last train
  • Sunday – 7am (only ONCE for any campers heading to the train station)

Ideal for 1st Quarter Challengers

From the finish line in Alfriston to Eastbourne Station via Bramley Camping Park (Eastbourne) :

  • Saturday – 11am – 6pm

Baggage Transfers

We’ve a range of services taking your bags forward for access during the challenge – for a change of clothes or shoes, extra layers for the night, or those snacks you can’t do without!

Please note the max weight limits – these are strict, and bags will be weighed. Quoted prices are per bag.

Baggage services will be paid in cash/card on the day – and you cannot pre book.

Ideal for Full Challenge walkers & joggers. 

We will take your bag (max weight 20kg) from the start in Eastbourne, onto the half way stop in Hove (where you have access to it), and then onwards to the finish in Arundel.

Ideal for Full Challenge runners & joggers. 

We will take your bag (max weight 20kg) from the start, straight to the finish in Arundel.

Ideal for all Half Challengers.

We will take your bag (max weight 20kg) from your start to your finish in Hove.

Ideal for all Quarter Challengers.

We will take your bag (max weight 20kg) from your start to your finish in Alfriston.

For all official Runners (ie  confirmed as a Runner on entry & dressed as such on the day) – our kit drop service will take a small (10kg max) bag forward for you to access:

  • Full Challenge runners – start > midway > finish
  • Half & Quarter Challenge runners – start > finish 

If you have a bag heavier than 10kg/2nd bag – please note the standard rates of our baggage service will apply.
