This area of the website is designed for those who are signed up to the 2024 London 2 Brighton Challenge, to help plan and prepare for the event!

DOWNLOAD THE EVENT APP

You MUST download the App for access to key info & updates. Available in both the Apple or Google Stores, search ‘Action Challenge’ and download. Then, on the front screen (OR go to ‘Load New’ in the burger menu if you already have the base App installed) enter the code L2B24 – which downloads the info for the London 2 Brighton.

You can view the App Info on a Computer:

  • Click the button below to go to the Web App Login page 
  • Enter User ID as ACT
  • Enter L2B24 Passcode (same as mobile App above)
 

The App holds all key information that you will need for the day including the final event guide, route maps, parking, camping & transfers and FAQs on managing your place. The App will also get updated in the lead up to the Challenge, – so make sure you have it on your phone!

You can expect to hear from your chosen charity within 2 weeks of registering onto your Ultra Challenge. Whilst every charity communicates slightly differently with their fundraisers – most offer advice, fundraising buckets/ donation tins, t-shirts etc. 

However you don’t need to wait for them! Follow the guidelines below;  set up your online JustGiving sponsorship donation page – and let your friends, family or work colleagues know where to find it – and get started!

MAKE SURE YOU DO IT CORRECTLY!

If you’re supporting a charity, to enable them to track your fundraising; know when you’ve reached your agreed target, and confirm your place with us (for Full Sponsorship & Mixed Funding) – you MUST set up your online fundraising / sponsorship page via JustGiving – under the correct event page . 100 km < 24 hours!

Up for a NEW Style of Ultra Challenge?

Many who run & jog can crack the 24 hr/100km target. However, an ‘Ultra March’ is about WALKING at a brisk & consistent pace with like minded challengers to achieve it – a bit like a march! – but taking in the great rest stops & services of the London 2 Brighton Ultra Challenge!

  • Participants opt in to the Ultra March category
  • Up to 300 will set off together as a big Ultra March group.
  • Single Start Time – 10am Saturday.
  • FREE Ultra March T shirt & headband picked up ‘on-the-day’.
  • Ultra March ‘Pacers’ set min. pace (with ‘sensible’ rest stop time).
  • Special Finishers Medal & Certificate .
  • ‘Hall of Fame’ on the Ultra Challenge website (optional!).

THE RULES:

Over & above the general Ultra Challenge Rules – with an Ultra March it’s:

  • STRICTLY WALKING ONLY (no jogging / running)
  • Stage times will be ‘checked’ to ensure the above.
  • You must complete 100km is sub 24 hours to qualify for special medal & certificate & the ‘HALL OF FAME’.
  • If you are ‘outside’ of the 24 hr target – you still celebrate with a conventional ‘Ultra Challenge medal / certificate.

  • You will be able to ‘opt’ into the Ultra March Category on the ‘100km Continuous’ Registration / Sign Up Form. So follow the normal ‘Sign Up’ links.

  • If you’ve already signed up for 100km as a walker – you can ‘switch’ into the ‘Ultra March’ category on this event at ZERO cost. Use the LINK BELOW to request this; select London 2 Brighton – and we’ll get it processed.

LIVE TIMING & TRACKING

Our live Timing & tracking website has been launched – this is where your friends & family can follow your progress along the route as you make your way to your finish line. 

Share with them the website and they can follow the simple steps below to keep a track of your movements over the weekend!

2. Search for yourself, a friend or family member on the top left toolbar (either name or bib number)
3. Follow yourself/them along the route & the progression!

START TIMEs & Bib Numbers

WE CAN NO LONGER ACCEPT START TIME CHANGE REQUESTS

If you registered on or before the 16th May 2023 you should be able to see your Start Time & Bib Number in the list below.

If you registered on or after 16th May, you will receive your start time alongside your E-Ticket on the 25th May.

  • If you have not received your E-Ticket and registered on or before the 16th May, please fill out our E-Ticket request form below.
  • You can also complete this form if you are not showing on the list below or are showing but incorrectly.

Please ensure to check your spam/junk email folder FIRST before requesting an E-Ticket.

START TIME AMMENDMENT FORM

If you need to request a change to your start time please read the following information FIRST before summitting a request.

Changes to Start Times can only be requested if one of the following apply:

You’ve been given a DIFFERENT start time from your team-mates that are on the SAME DISTANCE as you
You’ve been given a DIFFERENT start time to someone you are travelling with that are on the SAME DISTANCE as you
You’ll arrive via public transport and it’s impossible for you to reach your allocated start time.

DO NOT CALL OR EMAIL REGARDING YOUR START TIME as we cannot process start time requests unless the below form is completed.

MISSING A MEDAL & FINISHER'S T-SHIRT

If you are missing a T-Shirt and medal you can now get one below for just the cost of postage and packing. Please note; the 2023 London 2 Brighton top are limited edition ‘Finsher’s’ T-Shirts, the printing company made an error in their process and have pledged to donate the cost of the T-Shirts to the local charity – Chestnut Tree Children’s Hospice.

Please ensure you read our website to understand what optional extras you will need to book relevant to your distance to avoid confusion on the day of your challenge.

Download the GPX file of your route, to have the map at your finger tips on the day either on  Garmin or through your phone on Outdoors GPS, OS Maps, View Ranger or Kommot.

Family & friends can follow you every step of the way!

If you’d like family & friends to track your real time progress on your Ultra Challenge, then why not book a new Geo Tracker!  Pick it up at the start of the event – share the map with them – and then they’ll be able to see exactly where you are – day & night !

If you have registered ON OR BEFORE the 29th March your name and start time will be on the Start Time & E-ticket list – If you have not received your e-ticket please download the starting list below and fill in our ‘E-Ticket Request Form’. We will then be in touch with your e-ticket by close of play Wednesday, 6th of April.

Anyone registered ON or AFTER 30th March will receive your Start Time on your E-ticket by close of play Wednesday 6th April.

PLEASE NOTE: We are no longer accepting start time change requests and the starting list will NOT be updated again.
