Ultra Challenge® is the UK’s #1 Series of trekking & trail run events for a wide range of ages, experience & fitness levels – with over 40,000 participants due to take on a challenge in 2025, and the events set to raise over £10 million for our UK charity partners. These events have the reputation for being the best  – and you can become part of a special team that really makes a difference.

We’re always looking for new crew members to join us and help deliver the Ultra Challenge Series to high standards – with 18 or so unique events across the country in 2025. It’s fun & rewarding and never mundaine – with a range of roles that will suit: those with previous outdoor event experience – or individuals looking to break into the world of events – or anyone who’s simply after interesting & worthwhile weekend work or volunteering.

LOGISTICS COORDINATOR

PART TIME, SE18 LONDON

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Part-Time Event Logistics Coordinator to join our team. This role is a diverse mix of warehouse organizing, driving vans and lorries, and setting up event sites across the UK. The ideal candidate will have experience working within a fast paced warehouse environment, excited by the opportunity to experience the events industry and be part of a large, fun and exciting team. Based in our Woolwich Arsenal warehouse & office, SE18 on a part-time basis with evenings and weekend work expected.

Ultra Challenge has a reputation for the highest quality events and participant experience in the sector, and we’re looking for key staff who will share our ambition of delivering excellence! If you’re an Event Manager, or perhaps a professional event Freelancer looking to gain  experience of mass participation outdoor events – you could be part of our event management team helping to deliver some of the UK’s biggest & best challenges.

We’re looking for dedicated & enthusiastic individuals to join us and work with us on our Ultra Challenge events over the weekends and set up days. Working on an Ultra Challenge can be fun, engaging and hugely rewarding – from helping to set up the rest stop sites, serving cups of tea & snacks,  welcoming in challengers to rest stops, to driving support vehicles. The roles are varied and you’ll never have. boring mundane weekend! Fancy joining us and gaining some fantastic experience working in the world of outdoor events?

Have you recently graduated this summer, or you are now on a long summer break from your studies and looking for a great way to travel the country, meet new people, gain life long skills & event experience whilst at the same time taking on responsibility & having the opportunity to earn?

We’ve just launched our ‘Student Summer Crew’ programme – for those eager to learn & earn!

I started completing in the Ultra Challenges, and after taking in part in a few I decided to join the Cheer Squad to help and celebrate others achieving their goals. The atmosphere is always amazing, and it’s like being part of a big family – I’ve made friends for life through being part of the Ultra Challenges.

Our Cheer Squad are an amazing bunch of energetic, passionate, and fun individuals – many of whom have taken part in an Ultra Challenges themselves, and are now using their experience to motivate others. We’re looking to grow the team in 2025 – if you can give a few hours, a full day, or a whole weekend to help others -at our finish lines handing out 000’s of medals and cheering on Challengers. You will join our team of like minded individuals & have a lot fun! 

Trek Masters

VOLUNTEERING

Trek Masters are fit & active volunteers who give their time to helping others along the actual routes, and bring their own deep experience of Ultra Challenges and a passion for helping others to their finish line. As a Trek Master you’ll be part of a close knit team, and allocated a section of the route to patrol, or to lead groups of participants when the going gets tough, and to support our safety teams during the day or night.
