JOIN THE ULTRA CHALLENGE CLUB
Ultra Challenge® started in 2012 with the London 2 Brighton Challenge. By the end of 2025 there'll have been 126 events, with over 225,000 having walked, jogged, or run more than 15 million kilometres between them, and also raised over £75 million for our charity partners. Thousands of participants have taken on multiple Ultra Challenges - and in many cases, that's in each year!
The Ultra Challenge Club is about recognising, celebrating, and sharing these extraordinary personal achievements; staying active; and making the most of the community.
There are milestone club T shirts; collectable pin badges; distance leader boards - and a growing list of 'rewards' for club members. If you've done an Ultra Challenge® - we'd love you to join!

HOW IT WORKS ...
At the heart of the Club is an online record of YOUR Ultra Challenge® event history, and you update it as you continue to ‘Push Yourself Further’.
- Set up your online Club Profile with personal details & picture
- Add your previous Events by year - event & correct distance achieved
- Once your history is 100% complete - then hit 'SUBMIT' (not before)
- Your submitted history is reviewed - and will be 'live' the following day.
- Collect a Digital Badge for reaching milestone distances
- Your FIRST awarded Badge & T-shirt is sent to you FREE in the post
- Log NEW events completed - available Monday after a challenge
- Work your way up the Club distance tiers & access loyalty rewards
- Digital LEADER BOARDS. Check it out!
- Exclusive discounts available for Club members!
First thing to do is to add a few personal details (so we know who you are & where to mail any T shirt / badges).
Add a photo of yourself on the trails if you want to!
You’ll get a verification e mail once you’ve set up your profile (check ‘junk’ – just in case!)
Figure which Ultra Challenges you’ve done over the years! Download the handy ‘Jogger Logger’ from below – which lists ALL the events.
Then – you can begin adding your ‘Event History’ to your Club profile.
- For each year ALL events are listed.
- The ‘official’ distances are also listed (eg 106 km Isle of Wight, or 58 km 1st Half Jurassic)
- All distance categories count (ie from ~100 km down to 10 km)
- YOU simply need to correctly select the Challenges you took part in!
- * NOTE: If you did not finish a Challenge – you should select the closest lower Challenge distance to where you retired.
- Once you’re 100% confident that your event history is correct – you then ‘hit’ the SUBMIT button (NOT before).
- Your history is then ‘reviewed’ – and goes live the following day.
- ** NOTE – if you’ve made a mistake – you get one more ‘go’ to correct it after having ‘hit Submit’ (this is valid for a maximum of 3 days)
- You then add any future Challenges once you’ve completed them (from the Monday after a weekend event)
- *** NOTE: Only UK Ultra Challenge events count (NOT virtual challenges or overseas).

As you correctly add your ‘Event History’- the associated distances accumulate within your Club profile to give a TOTAL of the Ultra Challenge kilometres achieved to-date.
As you take on more Ultra Challenges in 2025 & 2026 – the kilometre total will increase as you update your profile after each event completed.

Digital Club Badges are awarded automatically within your Club profile for every 500km achieved – i.e at 500km, 1000km, 1500km, 2000km, 2500km, 3000km, 3500km, 4000km, 4500km & 5000km
NOTE: Historic records will be fully checked if there is any suspicion that data submitted may be incorrect! Profiles will be removed if they are deemed ‘fictitious’!
Alongside the digital badges – there’s the real stuff!
Coloured & differentiated Club T-shirts for each of the 500 km milestones – and collectable pin badges.
CLAIMING YOUR T-SHIRT / BADGE:
- The first milestone T shirt & badge (generally 500km for newer challengers) will be FREE.
- When you ‘hit’ a new KM milestone beyond the end of September 2026 – the T-shirts & badge are available for just £10 (inc. postage & packaging)
The Club ‘Leaderboards’ summarise the Profiles of all Ultra Challenge Club members who have entered their Event History – so everyone can see who’s done what, and what the individual accumulated distances amounts to.
The ‘charts’ can be ‘sorted’ in various ways if you want to dig deeper!

Over & above the milestone T-Shirts & Badges – their are other Club Rewards in place:
- 500 km initial milestone – get Free Entry into the ongoing calendar of Virtual Challenges (next one will be launched in October 2025).
- 1000 km milestone – get 15% OFF all Ultra Challenge merchandise purchases (valid for 12 months)
- 2000 km milestone – 20% OFF any event ‘bookable optional extras’ (currently valid for 12 months)
- 3000 km milestone – 25% OFF Reg Fees for any event (valid for 12 months)
- Other Club Rewards COMING SOON.
- Conditions will apply – see this website from 1st September.

FAQs
Complete the form with your personal details. Fill in your name, email address, tshirt size etc.
We ask that you ‘validate’ your email address to ensure we have the correct email address when we need to communicate with you about rewards / new perks / when the leader board goes live. You will be sent an automated email from our system which you will need to use to validate your email. Please check your junk/ spam folder as may end up in there.
Then your profile is ready for your event history to be logged and your gallery to be filled with Ultra Challenge pics!
Once you’ve completed your personal details, click on the “Record Your Events” button and work your way through the years, events and distances you’ve taken part in. Make sure you have logged everything before hitting the ‘Submit History’ button.
You will be able to see a summary of the events you have selected so far on your profile page.
Future events will only go live to add to your event history on the Monday AFTER it has taken place, so make sure you log it!
No – as we will be reviewing all submissions being publishing onto the leader boards. We will only be accepting distances you’ve reached – so for example if you signed up to the 100km Full Challenge, but only made it to the 50km half way, then you can only claim for the 50km distance of that challenge.
It is really important that you have fully completed and edited your ‘event history’ before hitting the ‘submit’ button. We want for you to fully complete your profile of events so you can edit and add them as much as you like, but once you hit the ‘submit history’ button it makes it difficult to make changes. Make sure you are fully satisfied you’ve added everything before hitting submit.
As we are aware that everyone makes mistakes every once in a while, we are allowing a grace period of 3 working days to continue to make changes to your event list after you’ve submitted your history for the first time. Just go back into your profile and the ‘record your events’ button should still be accessible to make changes.
From the dashboard you can ‘toggle’ the edit profile button, then you can amend and update your personal details.
To add a profile photo, you need to head to your profile page and click on the toggle at the top that says ‘edit profile’. There should then be a edit icon at the top of the space for your profile picture.
Clicking on that will open up the option to select a photo that you may have already uploaded onto your gallery, or to upload a new photo.
If uploading a new photo, make your selection, then press ‘store image’ to successfully save it to your gallery. To then make it your profile picture, click on your chosen photo and confirm it by clicking ‘save changes’.
To remove a distance from your event history list before you have submitted your history, head to ‘record your events’, then go to the year & event of the wrong selection, and click on it again to remove it from your list. A medal icon will appear on any distances you have selected, and therefore should disappear once you have clicked on it a second time to remove it.
