As the dust settles on a busy month of September, it’s time to reflect on a hectic but productive 30 days.

Our team pulled together, in the face of some wet and windy conditions at times, to deliver 3 weekends of successful events. This included the Thames Festival Weekend, which comprised 4 separate challenge events (Thames Moonlight 10, Thames Bridges Trek, Thames Path Challenge and Henley 10km).

Over 9,000 people took part in these events, supporting more than 400 different charities – and we are proud to announce that our September events alone have raised more than £3 million for our charity clients, via Justgiving.

Since this total doesn’t not include other fundraising platforms, the true total is almost certainly much higher.

This is an incredible achievement for all the fundraisers and charities involved – and is even more impressive when we consider the total cost to charities for these fundraiser places was just £300k. This means our September events delivered a fundraising ratio of 10:1!

We may sound like a broken record on this topic, but you really will struggle to find any mass participation event that delivers such a great ROI for charities!
