ANYWHERE, ANYTIME
START - FROM 1st DECEMBER
REGISTRATION OPEN!
Sign Up Before 8th December
It might be melting in places, some have travelled there by ship, others by submarine, and Jeremy Clarkson even drove there with his Top Gear cohorts! However, our December Virtual Challenge is all about journeying across the frozen Arctic Ocean the traditional way, on foot to the frozen cap of the world, and arriving at the frosty Pole flag before the New Year dawns.
There’s 4 expedition options available – from the short, sharp 100 km ‘Norway Route’, up to the epic meandering 500 km Greenland Route. Choose your chilly challenge – take it on anywhere, anytime in December – log your progress on our ‘North Pole virtual map’ – and share your journey online as you head to 90 degrees North! There are prize draws for everyone making it to the Pole by the 31st.
Fundraise for a charity of your choice if you wish to, there’s an optional ‘North Pole’ medal & neck buff, and a certificate for all who reach the Pole.

How it works...
Track your progress online
Once signed up to your chosen route, you can link up to our Arctic Circle Map with STRAVA / GARMIN / FITBIT within your Ultra Britain Account (so your activities automatically feed on to our map). Alternatively, you can add activities manually. Each time an activity is logged you’ll progress along your route along with other participants.
You have until 31st December ’24 (NEW YEAR’S EVE) to complete your Challenge and we’ll send you a special post card once you safely arrive! Start from 1st December onwards, and anyone can join up to 8th December.
