Bookable extras are designed to make the planning for your challenge as easy as possible -providing options for your joining & leaving arrangements, and are summarised below. As some participant’s travel & logistics may involve parking, transfers, and maybe accommodation also – please check that the combination you book makes sense!

HIRE A 'GEO TRACKER'

Family & friends can follow you every step of the way!

If you’d like family & friends to track your real time progress on your Ultra Challenge, then why not book a new Geo Tracker!  Pick it up at the start of the event – share the map with them – and then they’ll be able to see exactly where you are – day & night !

OPTIONAL SERVICES

Surrey Sports Park – MAIN START/FINISH VENUE (0km) – University rooms only

Friday night before your challenge – suits ALL who are starting on Saturday morning

Saturday night is bookable for all participants wanting to stay the night after your challenge

No Camping is available at Surrey Sports Park. We only have University accommodation facilities available.

Parking at Surrey Sports Park is included in the accommodation package.

Parking for your vehicle is available at :

  • The Major Surrey Sports Park Start / Finish Venue. We have limited parking available. Those staying at the accommodation will have parking included.

Shuttle busses to help with your logistics:

  • Transfer to the main start venue from Guildford train station.

After your challenge:

  • Transfer from your finish to Guildford train station or Surrey Sports Park

Saturday morning breakfast is included if you have booked Friday night accommodation. If you are not staying in the accommodation you will need to book Saturday morning breakfast

Guildford 10K Meal – If  you have taken part in the Guildford 10k there is an option to book a hot meal post challenge.

NO NEED TO PRE BOOK – AND IS AVAILABLE ON THE DAY AT YOUR START (Pay cash or Card)

  • Store your bag at Surrey Sports Park.

Park your car all day at Surrey Sports Park:

Saturday 6am – 10pm

Ideal for all challengers starting/ finishing at Surrey Sports Park.

ACCOMMODATION - Friday or Saturday

Surrey Sports Park

Accommodation ONLY is available at Surrey University ‘halls of residence’ on Friday &/or Saturday night – with single room options only. You must bring your own sleeping bag & towel. Accommodation booked on Friday night includes parking & breakfast on Saturday morning. If you have booked Saturday night, breakfast is NOT included on Sunday morning.

If booking both Friday & Saturday night you will be able to book this via the form and a discount will be applied when booking.

Hot showers, rest area, changing rooms, & hot drinks included. Use our optional Baggage Service to leave your kit at basecamp.

Friday 26th night – suitable for anyone starting at our basecamp at Surrey Sports Park

Saturday 27th night – for all participants post finish

NOTE – if you want the ‘optional dinner’ on Friday evening, served between 6-9pm, you must book this as a separate item.

Single room with en-suite for one night. You need to bring a sleeping bag & other equipment – Includes parking (at the accommodation car park) & breakfast the following morning on Saturday morning only.

Pre Challenge Transfers

We’ve a regular shuttle services before your challenge from a nearby train station.

Guildford Train Station is the closest rail link to basecamp (it’s on the South Western Railway line).

Ideal for anyone starting at Surrey Sports Park

To Surrey Sports Park from Guildford  train station –

  • Friday  – 4pm – 8pm 
  • Saturday – 6.30am  – 9.30am 

Post Challenge Transfers

We’ve a regular shuttle services for after your challenge to a local train station.

Ideal for anyone finishing at Surrey Sports Park

To Guildford train station – operating a regular service, although there may be a wait at quiet periods (up to an hour), during the times:

  • Saturday – 12pm (midday) – last train
  • Sunday – 8am (for those staying at the accommodation Saturday night).

Ideal 1st Half Challengers finishing at Milton Court (Nr Dorking).

  • Saturday – 11.00am – 4pm

Baggage Transfers

We’ve a baggage service to store your bags safely at Surrey Sports Park – for a change of clothes or shoes, extra layers for after your challenge, or those extra post event snacks you can’t do without!

Please note the max weight limits – these are strict, and bags will be weighed. Quoted prices are per bag.

Baggage services will be paid in cash/card on the day – and you cannot pre book.

Ideal for all Challengers.

Store your bag safely at the start/finish at Surrey Sports Park.

For all official Runners (ie  confirmed as a Runner on entry & dressed as such on the day) – our kit drop service will store a small (10kg max) bag for you to keep safe during your challenge:

If you have a ‘heavy’ bag (or a 2nd bag) – this must be booked in and paid for via the other baggage service options.
