This past weekend, the Jurassic Coast Ultra Challenge delivered an unforgettable experience for over 3,000 incredible participants. They enjoyed perfect weather, stunning coastal views, and a smoothly run event! The sun was shining on the Dorset coast, for the return of one of our most popular events!

Over 3,000 Participants
From seasoned ultra-athletes to first-time fundraisers (not to mention our motley crew of regular Ultra Challengers!), more than 3,000 people laced up their trainers to take on the Jurassic Coast’s rugged terrain. This year had more ways to take on the challenge than ever too – with a family-friendly Bridport 10km & a Jurassic Marathon loop from Weymouth, to the classic “first half” 58km and the ultimate 100km distance.

On Track to Raise £1.5 Million
We’re thrilled to share that the challenge is on course to raise an amazing £1.5 million for over 300 UK charities. This remarkable achievement is a testament to the dedication of every walker, jogger, and runner who took part—and to the generosity of their supporters. In particular, our Series Partners have seen a great return from this challenge, but also local causes such as hospices have seen an increase in their income from this challenge.

Glorious Weather, Seamless Experience
The weekend was blessed with incredible weather, showcasing the stunning scenery of the Jurassic Coast. Despite the complex logistics of managing such a large-scale event, everything ran smoothly and professionally—a huge credit to our wonderful event crew, volunteers, and supply partners who made it all possible.

Charity Partners at the Heart of the Action
We were delighted to welcome some of our valued charity partners to the start line, where they had the chance to meet and cheer on their supporters in person. This connection with the people giving up their time and efforts to support a good cause helps foster long-term relationships, and really is appreciated by the fundraisers who feel valued.

Corporate Teams Stepped Up
It wasn’t just individuals taking part—corporate teams turned out in force, bringing energy & enthusiasm (plus a healthy dose of friendly competition!). An Ultra Challenge is a great way to get a team out of the office and active on a well-run event that’s tailor made to boost team morale and give a real sense of achievement!

To everyone who took part, supported, volunteered, or donated—thank you. There’s no time off for our team though – this weekend it’s the London 2 Brighton Ultra Challenge. This is the Ultra that started it all – the very first 100km Ultra Challenge we ever delivered.
See you at the start line in Richmond!
