Our range of bookable optional extras are available from Friday 29th April evening till Sunday 1st May morning, and are designed to make the planning for your challenge easier so that on the day all you need to worry about is the challenge! Please see below for further details then click ‘BOOK NOW’ to make your bookings.

Parking is available at the main venues. If you’re not doing the full Challenge (100 km) – check that our optional Shuttle Services also work for you.

All weekend at – Chale (basecamp), from Saturday (or Fri eve) – Sunday 10pm. 

Saturday  30 April or Sunday 1 May for the day at – Chale (basecamp), Nodewell Farm (The Needles 25km), IOW Showground (Cowes 52km),  & Culver Down (29km)

Supporters can book a pass for parking at Chale (basecamp), Nodewell Farm (The Needles 25km), IOW Showground (Cowes 52km),  & Culver Down (29km)

Camping - Friday & Saturday

Camping available at our Chale basecamp for Friday & /or Saturday nights – with single & twin share options. 

Inclusive Packages – with pre pitched tent & mattress – (you bring sleeping bag & other equipment) & breakfast the following morning.

Pitch Only Option – bring your own tent or campervan (+ all equipment) & breakfast the following morning.

Hot showers, rest area, changing rooms, & hot drinks included. Use our optional Baggage Service to move your kit from the start.

Friday 29th night – suitable for anyone starting in Chale.

Saturday 30th night – for Full Continuous runners / joggers (likely to finish Sat eve). Do not book Saturday if you are  a 2 Day 100 km Challenger. 

Spacious 2-man tent & mattress – all set up and ready for you. You need to bring sleeping bag & other equipment.

Roomy 3-man tent & mattresses all set up and ready for you – plenty of space for 2 people and bags! 

Reserve a space for your tent or campervan. You’ll have access to hot showers, toilets & other facilities – and includes breakfast the following morning.

At the 52 km  ‘half way’ rest stop in Cowes on Saturday 30th.

Pre Challenge Transfers

We’ve a range of shuttle services to take you to your start line, before your challenge. Red Funnel – West Cowes is the closest ferry link to the Chale basecamp (it departs from Southampton).

Ideal for all starting in Chale

From the ferry to the main start line at Chale basecamp – on a regular shuttle service during the times:

  • Friday – 16:30 – 21:00
  • Saturday – 06:30 & 07:30

Ideal for 1st Half Challengers

Park your car at the finish in Cowes & get a shuttle to your start line in Chale (basecamp). This service will run:

  • Only once on Saturday at 06:30

Ideal for 1st Quarter Challengers

Park your car at the finish in Nodewell Farm (The Needles) & get a shuttle to your start line in Chale. This service will run:

  • Only once on Saturday at 07:30

Ideal for 4th Quarter Challengers

Park your car at the finish in Chale (basecamp) & get a shuttle to your start line in Culver Down. This service will run:

  • Only once on Sunday at 08:00

Post Challenge Transfers

We’ve a range of shuttle services to take you where you need to go after your challenge.

Ideal for anyone finishing at Chale basecamp

To Red Funnel Ferry (West Cowes) – operating regular service, although there may be a wait at quiet times (max 45 mins) at quiet times,  during the hours:

  • Saturday – 18:00 – last ferry
  • Sunday – 07:00 – 22:00

Ideal for 1st Half Challengers

From the finish line in Cowes to Chale:

  • Saturday – midday – 02:00

Ideal for 1st Half Challengers

From the finish line in Cowes to the Red Funnel Ferry (West Cowes).

  • Saturday – 13:00 – last ferry
  • Sunday – 06:00 – 08:00 (For campers at IOW Showground)

Ideal for 1st Quarter Challengers

From the finish line in Nodewell Farm (The Needles) to the Red Funnel Ferry (West Cowes)

  • Saturday – 11:00 – 19:00

Ideal for 1st Quarter Challengers

From the finish line in Nodewell Farm (The Needles) back to Chale

  • Saturday – 11:00 – 19:00

Ideal for 3rd Quarter Challengers

From the finish line in Culver Down to Red Funnel Ferry (West Cowes).

  • Sunday – 09:00 – 15:00

Ideal for 3rd Quarter Challengers

From the finish line in Culver Down to Cowes.

  • Sunday – 09:00 – 15:00

Baggage Transfers

We’ve a range of services taking your bags forward for access during the challenge – for a change of clothes or shoes, extra layers for the night, or those snacks you can’t do without!

Please note the max weight limits – these are strict, and bags will be weighed. Quoted prices are per bag.

Baggage services will be paid in cash/card on the day – and you cannot pre book.

Ideal for all Full Challengers.

Store your bag safely at the start in Chale (basecamp).

Ideal for Full Challenge walkers & joggers. 

We will take your bag (max weight 20kg) from the start, to the half way stop (where you have access to it), and then onwards to the finish in Chale.

Ideal for all Half Challengers.

We will take your bag (max weight 20kg) from the start to your finish.

Ideal for all Quarter Challengers.

We will take your bag (max weight 20kg) from the start to your finish.

For all official Runners (ie  confirmed as a Runner on entry & dressed as such on the day) – our kit drop service will take a small (10kg max) bag forward for you to access:

  • Full Challenge runners – start > midway > finish
  • Half & Quarter Challenge runners – start > finish 

 

If you have a ‘heavy’ bag (or a 2nd bag) – this must be booked in and paid for via the other baggage service options.
