Bookable extras are designed to make the planning for your challenge as easy as possible – providing options for your joining & leaving arrangements, and are summarised below. As some participant’s travel & logistics may involve parking, transfers, and maybe camping also – please check that the combination you book makes sense!

Henley (basecamp)– MAIN START/FINISH VENUE

Friday night before your challenge. Suits ALL who are starting on Saturday morning

Saturday night is bookable for all wanting to stay the night post finish.

INCLUSIVE PACKAGES OR ‘PITCH ONLY’ OPTION (inc Camper Vans) ARE AVAILABLE

Parking for your vehicle is available at :

  • The Major Henley Start / Finish Venue
  • Supporter Parking Pass – so friends / family can park at Henley (basecamp) & Lewknor.

Shuttle busses to help with your logistics:

  • Transfer to the main Henley start venue from Henley train station.

After your challenge:

  • Transfer from your finish to Henley train station

Friday Night – pre-book a delicious hot meal put on by our fantastic event caterers, Extreme Hospitality. Includes a hot meal (a few menu options), dessert and soft drink. 

Saturday Morning Breakfast at Henley – buy on the day from our Catering Partner, Extreme Hospitality.

Sunday Morning Breakfast – if you are camping overnight with us there – you must PRE-BOOK breakfast.

Chiltern 10K Meal – If  you have taken part in the Chiltern 10k there is an option to book a hot meal post challenge.

NO NEED TO PRE BOOK – AND IS AVAILABLE ON THE DAY AT YOUR START (Pay cash or Card)

Parking is available at the main venues. If you’re not parking at your start – check that our optional Shuttle Services also work for you.

All weekend at Henley (basecamp)

Friday 4pm – 11pm & Saturday 6am – Sunday 10am

Ideal for ALL challengers.

Supporters can book a pass for parking at Henley Basecamp & Lewknor (23km).

Camping - Friday &/or Saturday

Henley showground

Camping available at our Henley (basecamp) for Friday &/or Saturday night – with single & twin share options

Inclusive Packages – with pre pitched tent & roll mat (you must a sleeping bag & other equipment). Parking is included in your package

Pitch Only Option – bring your own tent or campervan (+ all equipment). 

If booking both Friday & Saturday night you will be able to book this via the form and a discount will be applied when booking

You will be able to add on extra campers to your Pitch ONLY/Campervan option under the same booking. Make sure you look for the Extra Campers option on the booking form 

Hot showers, rest area, changing rooms, & hot drinks included

NOTE – A vendor will be on site selling snacks for anyone staying at Henley (basecamp) on Friday night.

NO DOGS – pets are strictly not permitted on any of our venues, including the campsite.

Strictly Banned Camping Items 

  • Fuel & Fire: NO gas canisters or petrol-fuelled cookers are allowed on site.
  • BBQs: Portable or disposable are strictly prohibited.

Key Guidelines

Camping Stoves: Must be raised at least 30cm off the ground and never used inside tents.

Spacious 2-man tent & roll mat – all set up and ready for you. You need to bring a sleeping bag & other equipment. Includes parking.

Spacious 3-man tent & roll mats all set up and ready for you. Plenty of space for 2 people and bags! Includes parking.

Reserve a space for your tent or campervan. You’ll have access to hot showers, toilets & other facilities. Includes parking.

Reserve a spot on an already booked Pitch/Campervan on our campsite. (Please ensure when booking for extra campers you have already purchased a Pitch/Campervan space).

Please select how many additional people per Pitch/Campervan (max 3 people added / 4 in total on a pitch). If you would like to book more than 4 people, you will be able to book another PITCH/ Campervan with extra campers following the same process.

You will have access to hot showers, toilets & other facilities.

Pre Challenge Transfers

We’ve a range of shuttle services to take you to your start line, before your challenge. Henley Station is the closest rail link to the Henley  basecamp (it’s on the Great Western Railway).

Ideal for all starting in Henley.

From the train station to Henley (basecamp) – on a regular shuttle service during the times:

  • Friday: 5pm – 8pm
  • Saturday: 6am – 9am

Post Challenge Transfers

We have a range of shuttle services to take you where you need to go after your challenge.

Ideal for anyone finishing at Henley basecamp

To Henley Train Station – operating regular service during the hours: (there may be a wait at quiet times up to 60mins). 

  • Saturday: 12pm (Midday) – last train
  • Sunday: 8am (for those camping Saturday night).

Bag storage

Store your bag with us for a change of clothes or shoes, or extra layers for after your challenge.

Baggage services will be paid in cash/card on the day – and you cannot pre book.

Ideal for all Challengers.

Store your bag safely at the start in Henley (basecamp).

For all official Runners (ie confirmed as a Runner on entry) – our kit drop service will take a small (5kg max) bag into storage.

If you have a bag heavier than 5kg/2nd bag – please note the standard rates of our baggage service will apply.
