2026 Registration Opens Mid-Year
With 50 km, ~25 km & 10 km options – it’s the perfect opportunity to challenge yourself in spring and get in shape. Join 2,000 others for and Walk, Jog, or Run from Bath Racecourse.

THE 50 km Challenge
BATH LOOP
28 march 2026
From the Racecourse basecamp the anticlockwise loop heads down to the City, past the famous Royal Crescent, and along the River Avon. The route join sections of the popular ‘Bath Circuit’ – with a lunch stop at Coombe Down, before re-joining the River Avon Trail to the east of the City. Heading north it joins Limestone Link and on into the countryside to pick up the famous Cotswold Way, and it’s around and back to the Racecourse where a loud cheer and a welcome celebration awaits.

50 km & ~930 metres
- Start: Bath Racecourse
- Start times: 8am – 9.30am walkers & joggers (runners will be off first at 8am)
- Solo Challenger start time option – join up with others.
- Finish: Bath Racecourse
- Finish times: Runners 4 – 6 hrs, joggers 5 – 8 hrs, walkers 8 – 12 hrs
All rest stops have – covered seating areas, toilets, medics & manned by our event teams.
- ~12 km – snacks, hot drinks & water
- ~25 km – picnic lunch & fizzy drinks
- ~42 km – snacks, hot drinks & water
- 50 km – meal, hot drinks & water
- Finish – glass of fizz, medal & t-shirt
There’s a full range of optional parking & pre or post Challenge Shuttle bus transfer services, to make it easy to join & exit – and to provide flexible options for your planning. These include:

- Shuttles to and from Bath train station (good London links) before and after your challenge

For WALKERS looking to achieve a sub 12 hour total time for 50 km. There’s a dedicated start time to opt into on the Reg Form – and join in with 200 or so other ‘Marchers’

- Start: Bath Racecourse
- Start times: 8.30am – 10.30am
- Finish: Bath Racecourse
- Finish times: Runners 2 – 3 hrs, joggers 3 – 5 hrs, walkers 4 – 6 hrs
All rest stops have – covered seating areas, toilets, medics & manned by our event teams.
- 12 km – snacks, hot drinks & water
- ~29 km – finishers lunch, hot drinks & water
- Finish – glass of fizz, medal & t-shirt

NORTH BATH LOOP

The ‘half challenge’ is actually 29 km – as we want it to take in a good mix of the highlights. The anticlockwise loop heads down past the famous Royal Crescent, and east along the River Avon trail to join the Limestone Link. It’s up and into the countryside to pick up the famous Cotswold Way, and it’s around and back to the Racecourse where a loud cheer and a welcome celebration awaits.
THE 10 km Challenge
BATH Loop

Perfect if you want a more leisurely start to your season – or perhaps to bring the children along and make it an active family day out! The route heads out of the Racecourse with great views over Bath – and heads back through the countryside back to basecamp – where medal and celebration awaits!

10 km & ~109 metres
- Start: Bath Racecourse
- Start times: 10:30am start for all
- Finish: Bath Racecourse
- Tea / coffee / snacks at the start.
- Optional bookable lunch, hot drinks & water at finish
