We’re based in Woolwich, London – and started out as part of a company called ‘Action Challenge’ – which, for 25 years or so organised challenge events in the UK, Europe, and Worldwide. The original company is now ‘Ultra Challenge Ltd’ – and focuses on the Series of UK endurance style events, which in 2026 will see 40,000 or so adventures take part in 20 fantastic events – and raise £12 million for UK charities.

The overseas ‘tour’ side of the original company – now sits in a new and separate company – called AC Events Group Ltd, and trades as ‘Action Challenge’. (www.actionchallenge.com).

Ultra Challenge’s ambition is to remain the UK’s favourite series of Treks & Trail Run Challenges – and enhance peoples lives by enabling them to get active, ‘Push Themselves Further’ in wonderful British countryside, and enjoy the camaraderie & friendship of the growing Ultra Challenge community.
