We are thrilled to share that our first two events of the year, the London Winter Walk and the Bath 50 Ultra Challenge, have raised over £1 million for our UK charity partners, on JustGiving. This incredible achievement is a testament to the dedication and generosity of our participants, supporters, event crew and volunteers!

London Winter Walk: A Frosty Success

The London Winter Walk kicked off the year with a brisk and beautiful journey through the heart of the capital. The scenic route, which included iconic landmarks such as Tower Bridge and the Thames Path, provided the perfect backdrop for this winter adventure, with plenty of wintry treats included for all!

Bath 50 Ultra Challenge: A Great Debut

Following the London Winter Walk, the first ever Bath 50 Ultra Challenge took participants on a historic and picturesque route through the stunning countryside of Bath. 2,000 plucky challengers rose to the occasion, raising an impressive £280,000 for charity. They enjoyed some breathtaking views, and the classic Ultra Challenge supportive atmosphere made this event truly unforgettable.

The Best Returns for Charities

Raising over £1 million for UK charities is no small feat, and it wouldn’t have been possible without the collective efforts of everyone involved. From the walkers and runners who pushed their limits, to the friends and family who cheered them on, and the crew & volunteers who ensured everything ran smoothly – we thank you all from the bottom of our hearts.

The return on investment for charities on these 2 events is over 12:1 – meaning that for every £1 they spent on event places, they received £12 back in donation. This is up from 10:1 in 2024!

£2.8 Million Raised in 2025

We are also proud to announce that the Ultra Challenge Series as a whole has raised an impressive £2.8 million so far in 2025. This means we are on track to raise over £11 million for UK charities in 2025, and real landmark achievement for the Series, and great news for charities.

Looking Ahead…

As we celebrate these milestones, we are also looking forward to the remaining Ultra Challenges we have coming up across the summer.

We encourage charities and fundraisers to look at our upcoming late summer events, such as the Thames Path Challenge and the Chiltern 50 Challenge. These events offer fantastic opportunities to raise funds, engage supporters, a maximise your return on the 2025 Ultra Challenge Series.
